Booming Mexican fair

Good exhibitor and visitor numbers were recorded at the 24th Expo Nacional Ferretera in Guadalajara, Mexico, from 6 – 8 September 2012. Some 80 000 visitors attended the event. The exhibitor side included 1 300 companies occupying an exhibition space of 48 000 m². Among the exhibitors were some brand-name manufacturers from Europe and the USA. For instance, the Worldwide DIY Council (WDIYC) had organised a group stand for ten exhibitors from North America. “It was the busiest fair that I have ever attended,” is how WDIYC president Jayne Seagrave (Vancouver Tool) summed up her impressions of the event.You can find a detailed and personal report from Jayne Seagrave under the Trade Topics heading at DIYglobal Plus (see below: Other articles on this topic).
