Mr Bricolage in Colombia

The French DIY chain Mr Bricolage has opened its first store in Colombia. The store is in the city of Pereira and is operating as a local store with a retail area of 1 426 m². The operator and franchisee is the Colombian company Ceramica Italia, which has over 250 outlets selling floor coverings in Colombia. The company’s declared aim is to get involved in the DIY trade across the country. A second store is scheduled to open in 2016.
The city of Pereira has around 400 000 inhabitants, with a million people living in the surrounding area.
