The sales revenue from these 766 locations in France decreased by 2.6 per cent to € 1.9036 bn compared to last year; on a like-for-like basis, it went up by 0.5 per cent. The 72 stores abroad increased their revenues by 9.0 per cent (like-for-like 4.3 per cent) to € 242.6 mio. Sales over the Internet were € 13.6 mio.
2016 also saw the appointment of a new group head. Christophe Mistou (48) is now Directeur Général. He had previously worked for the competitor Castorama from 1992. From 2008 to 2012 he was commercial director and following that he worked at the British parent company Kingfisher, responsible for sourcing and development of own brands.
