Short-time work for most Spanish manufacturers

Nearly three quarters of Spanish manufacturers in the DIY and hardware sectors are on short time in their plants. According to the AFEB association, which represents over 100 companies, more than 70 per cent are working shorter hours. In the two weeks of stricter lockdown, only 7 per cent continued to operate more or less as normal. 76 companies were partially operational, while 17 per cent stopped work altogether during this period.
