154,000 traders visited the consumer goods fairs Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld in Frankfurt in recent days. As reported by the organisers, 4,561 exhibitors occupied stands covering 352,950 m2 across the Frankfurt exhibition centre. Visitors from more than 170 nations attended. The combination of the three trade shows is intended to reflect the increasing merging of lifestyles. "Our new one-stop shop concept is working," said Detlef Braun, managing director of Messe Frankfurt.
At Ambiente, Dining, Living and Giving were complemented by the new Working section with an eye on modern working worlds. Christmasworld offered seasonal and festive decorations. Creativeworld celebrated the ongoing DIY boom with creative ranges and workshops. The focus theme was sustainability, which was reflected in the special presentations, lectures, workshops and guided tours, as was the new way of working and the future of trade.
Broad international reach
70 per cent of the visitors came from foreign countries. In addition to Germany, the strongest participating nations included Italy, France, the Netherlands, the USA, Great Britain, Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, Greece and Poland.
Digital expansion
80,242 people used the Digital Extension online platform. Exhibitors and visitors can network there and follow trade show highlights until February 17, 2023.
The consumer goods fairs will continue to be held simultaneously in Frankfurt: Ambiente and Christmasworld will run from 26 to 30 January 2024, and Creativeworld from 27 to 30 January 2024.
