Praktiker Greece is a member of Edra/Ghin

Praktiker Hellas is a new member of the international DIY association Edra/Ghin. The company is considered number one in the Greek home improvement and DIY market. It operates 16 stores nationwide, is active in e-commerce and also has a presence throughout Greece through its Praktiker Business division. The range includes around 50 000 items.

The former national company of the German DIY store group Praktiker, which went bankrupt in 2013, was taken over in 2014 by the Canadian group Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, which has been on the market since 1985. According to the company, Praktiker Hellas is currently not only pursuing a growth strategy, but is also implementing an investment plan that includes the upgrade of its systems, the renovation of existing stores and the expansion of its branch network with new locations in the Attica region and neighbouring regions. The company has around 1 400 employees.
