Gardena with slight increase in the second quarter

The Gardena division, which covers the consumer business of which the Husqvarna Group, increased its sales in the second quarter by 5 per cent to approximately SEK 5.031 bn (about EUR 438 million), as reported by the parent company. Organic sales fell by 2 per cent, while currency effects contributed 7 per cent.

Sales growth gradually improved during the quarter, particularly due to increased demand for irrigation solutions. The robotic mower segment also performed well, according to the report.

In the first half of 2023, Gardena's total sales fell by 4 per cent to SEK 9.351 bn (approx. EUR 814.7 million). Organic sales fell by 11 per cent, with currency effects contributing 7 per cent.
