Gardena closed the year 2024 with a sale decrease of 5 per cent to SEK 12.281 bn (EUR 1.08 bn), as the Swedish mother company Husqvarna announced in its financial report. Changes in exchange rates had a neutral effect, while organic sales declined by 5 per cent. The Gardena division, in which Husqvarna combines its consumer business, delivered growth for hand tools and battery powered products, according to the press release.
In the fourth quarter, sales fell by 5 per cent to SEK 1.264 bn (EUR 0.11 bn). Organic sales declined by 8 per cent, currency had a positive contribution of 3 per cent. While the sales of watering products and robotic mowers decreased, sales of hand tools continued to grow.
