The French DIY franchise group Mr. Bricolage achieved a turnover of EUR 1.1872 bn in the stationary DIY business in the first half of the year. This is an increase of 1.2 per cent compared to the same period last year, but a minus of 0.9 per cent on a like-for-like basis. The 927 stores in France, operating under the brands Mr. Bricolage and Les Briconautes as well as under their own brand names, increased their sales by 0.3 per cent to EUR 1.0288 bn; on a like-for-like basis, there was a decline of 1.8 per cent. The number of locations increased by 81 during this period. The 76 stores outside France grew by 7.7 per cent to EUR 168.4 mio and also increased by 4.0 per cent on a like-for-like basis. In e-commerce, excluding Click & Collect, turnover increased by 20.8 per cent to EUR 6.7 mio. This brings the total revenue for the first half-year to EUR 1.2039 bn (plus 1.3 per cent).
