Screwfix soon to be online pure player in 20 European countries

Screwfix, the professional-oriented sales division of the British Kingfisher Group, wants to be present as an online pure player in up to 20 European countries by the end of October at the latest. This has been revealed in its latest half-year report.

However, Screwfix has revised its plans for stationary expansion in France slightly downwards. Instead of 25 locations as previously targeted, a total of 20 locations are now to be opened in the 2023/2024 financial year. From February to July, the British opened four locations in France and now operate nine locations there.
