Leroy Merlin has reopened its first Romanian market after a remodelling. The store in question is the Colosseum location in the capital, Bucharest. It had opened in September 2011 and is considered the flagship of the DIY chain in Romania. The company aims to increase the number of customers by 10 to 15 per cent and sales by 15 to 20 per cent by 2024, reports the online service bricoretail.ro. The total indoor and outdoor sales area is now around 15 000 m². This also includes a drive-in that has been expanded to 4 000 m². The store had remained open during the renovation work.
