Topline from Ireland returns to Edra/Ghin

The Irish Topline Group has returned to the international trade association Edra/Ghin. The DIY and building materials purchasing cooperative was already a member of the association from 2014 to 2018. It has more than 90 members that operate more than 160 stores nationwide.

Topline was founded in 1972 by a small group of independent hardware merchants and, according to its own information, changed the DIY and building materials landscape in Ireland.

Commenting on the re-entry, Topline CEO Hugh O'Donnell said: “The work that Edra/Ghin is doing to support the evolution of home improvement retailing across the globe is now more important than ever. I look forward to Topline both contributing to and benefiting from this work.”

Welcoming Topline to Edra/Ghin "reaffirms the role our international association plays in bringing together the world of home improvement”, says managing director John Herbert. With the addition of Topline, Edra/Ghin now represents 230 home improvement retailers in 79 countries.
