"Exhibitor demand is so great. We expect some 2 500 exhibitors," says Elke Moebius, Global Head Retail and Director Euro-Shop at the Messe Düsseldorf. She said that this development impressively showed that the new concept of the seven experience dimensions had been the right step.
Moebius is convinced that "Euro-Shop, as the leading global trade fair for retailers' entire investment needs, is enormously important for the sector. Many exhibitors deliberately schedule their product launches and portfolios in line with the Euro-Shop dates".
The seven experience dimensions of the trade fair are as follows: POP Marketing, Expo & Event Marketing, Retail Technology, Lighting, Visual Merchandising, Shop Fitting & Store Design as well as Food Tech & Energy Management.
Again in 2017, the presentation of the Retail Design Awards for the world's best store concepts will be taking place parallel to the trade fair, as well as the ceremony for the Retail Technology Awards Europe (reta). The reta honours the excellent and innovative use of information technology in retail. Both prizes will be awarded by the Messe Düsseldorf and the EHI Retail Institute.
The trade fair will be open for trade visitors from Sunday, 5 March 2017 to Thursday, 9 March 2017, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
The Euro-Shop was held by the Messe Düsseldorf for the first time in 1966 and takes place every three years…
