Kesko makes 24 per cent more in the building and home improvement trade

The Finnish Kesko Group achieved record sales in the past year with its building materials and DIY trade division. Sales in this area rose by 24.2 per cent to EUR 2.2923 bn. Like-for-like sales adjusted for currency effects amounted to plus 11.34 per cent. The various sales divisions in Finland, Sweden and Norway did develop differently, but very positively throughout. In the home and main market of Finland, sales rose by 11.0 per cent to EUR 1.0785 bn. The highest unadjusted growth was achieved in Norway at 55.7 per cent.
