The board of directors of Finland's Kesko Corporation has appointed Jorma Rauhala as managing director of the Kesko Corporation and president and CEO of Kesko Group with effect from 1 February 2024, the company has announced. The reason for this is that the current president and CEO Mikko Helander will retire in 2024. Rauhala is currently deputy CEO.
Rauhala, born in 1965, has worked at Kesko Corporation since 1992 and has been president of the construction and technical trade division since November 2017. Prior to that, he was president of Kesko's grocery division and of Kesko Food. Rauhala has also served as managing director of Kespro and has been a member of the group management board of Kesko Corporation since 2013.
